- So the other day I was sitting on my porch when much to my joy this firefly buzzed up illuminated and buzzed off. This seemingly simple and mundane action then set in motion the thought process of how to convert this typical act of nature into an awesome comic, what you see is the magical end result.

- Late in the night Monday update, an expediant trip up north set me back a bit.

- Just a Saturday update, nothing to see here.

- Not too much today, which is a good contrast to yesterday. The biggest news item is that we have reached the end of Self Righteous week and oddly enough it wasn't half as Self Righteous as I had thought it would come out, so there is a bonus if I ever saw one.

- Lots of stuff today. first off, two comics today like I said yesterday, I felt the need to make Comic 449 as soon as possible because I wanted to strike while the movie was still kind of new. I will expand on why it was good in the near future but for now just take my word for it.
- Second In regards to comic 450, I really do feel that pretty much anyone who wants to make a comic has it well within there abilities to do so. Many people that I have talked to have expressed interest in making comics them selves but are always put off by the art aspect of the process. This may be because they are embarrassed of there art skills that they have yet to refine or because they just don't enjoy drawing too much or something. All I really have to say on this topic is that I created Sam's Life from rough sketches that I whipped out in about 20 seconds, now this isn't to say that the comic is the best thing ever written but it just goes to prove that you don't have to put your best foot forward when it comes to art, if you craft a truly great comic people will still read it, even if you use pseudo stick figures.
- Toothpaste for Dinner and Gone With the Blastwave links so you have an idea of what I was referencing in the comic.
- Lastly I was recently commissioned to make a shirt, which I did last night, you can view and buy it at my gimped out cafepress store
- Also I still don't like cafepress' Terms of service as far as ownership over your images and content has ever been concerned so I won't be bringing back Sam's Life merchandise anytime soon, I only used it for this shirt because it is simple and they wouldn't try to own the rough likeness' of myself and my friends with this image.
- Lastly to explain the shirt: The Norse god Odin's favorite weapon was the spear. He loved it so much that he decided that all who are slain with such a weapon would be accepted into the halls of Valhalla.
